This must-read novel is a beautifully written exploration of love and its complicated entanglements. It seems nothing can brand a person so deeply as the powerful heat of a first love’s flame. For Beth, that old untamed fire returns and threatens to burn her new life to the ground. I highly recommend this book to fans of coming-of-age, historical fiction, and tragic triangle love stories.
